The World Bank has already urged the developed and underdeveloped countries to raise the standards of education to help children prosper and learn effectively. However, the situation in most developing countries is not so rosy, which is why the learning crisis seems to prevail in educational institutions including schools and higher education. Sadly, more than 260 million children are not able to attend schools or leave schools due to various socioeconomic and family reasons; more than half of students who got school do not benefit much from their learning environment despite paying huge fees to schools. The World Bank is pushing the primary education across the globe by 2030 which aims to promote quality over quantity of education.
Learning Crisis is becoming a Problem Globally
Despite children across the world spend several years in school and pay huge money to educational institutions to enhance their learning skills and acquire new knowledge to live a fruitful life. Unfortunately, most of the school children are unable to read, write, and speak the English language properly or solve math questions. Therefore, a learning crisis exists all across the globe which is increasing in magnitude day by day. The educational researchers claim that world students are in deep trouble, which is why they are far from where they should be in terms of skills and learning. Therefore, hundreds of millions of students go to school, but only a few of them are able to benefit from the Learning Environment.
The statistics from the developing countries are even more terrifying than in the advanced countries. The World Bank data shows that 56% of the school children in developing countries and African areas are not learning at all, the number in sub-Sahara African countries is almost 90%. The governments in these countries are largely failing to address the crucial issue of learning crisis in schools, which is why the 2030 goal of quality learning may seem un-achievable by many countries and schools.

However, the free and properly planned primary and secondary education is far from available to the masses. Bursaries should play a key role to help children prosper in schools and need to develop targeted financing solutions to help them meet everyday costs. They can also wear decent clothing and not feel ashamed of their poverty if the government encourage them to move towards the goal of quality learning.
In addition to the above problems, the most serious problem is that there are not enough schools in the world to educate every child in the community; especially in the poorest countries, people have no access to proper financial resources necessary to open new schools and admit a large number of students. Which is why the existing schools are unable to provide quality education to the students and are hardly able to meet their own expenses and teacher’s costs. The second major problem is that the value of education is also decreasing, in the remote areas of the world, children belonging to the indigenous areas are still struggling to find food and water for their families rather than devoting themselves towards quality education.
Another major problem is that the geographical locations are not ideal in many areas for schooling. This includes severe weather conditions in some areas of the world that prohibit children to go to school during extreme weathers; moreover, many families do not wish their children to go to school and force them to child labor. Majority of people and groups are forgotten by the authorities and political elites who deprive many poor children of their education. The lack of interest of the government in passive areas of the globe is the reason why school learning is so poor. Therefore, children in war-ridden countries are also unable to get a quality learning environment.
